The first steps of the journey were relatively smooth. The transition through security and customs at Melbourne Airport was smooth and so wwere the flights, with only a few bumps along the way. The trip to Dubai wasa haze; I watched a film, I ate, I slept, I ate, watched another film (The Darkest Hour with Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill) then dozed.
